Duolink is a language community where people help each other learn languages.
Prohibited: insults, spam, harassment, discrimination, explicit content. Violations lead to a ban.
We do not monitor messages or calls. If you encounter a violation, click "Report". We will review and take action.
You are responsible for your communication. We are not liable for user actions, but we may remove inappropriate content or block accounts for violating the terms.

1. General provisions

Welcome! By registering for or using our websites, services, mobile applications, and other materials (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to enter into a legally binding agreement with:

(hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our", or "Duolink"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to abide by them. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at https://duolink.pro/termofservice/. Your continued use of the Service after any changes means you accept the new Terms.

The governing language of these Terms is English. In case of discrepancies between translated versions, the English version shall prevail.

2. Registration and account

2.1. Creating an Account

To use the Service, you must register. You can register using:

an email address;
your Google account (other social login options may be added later).

When registering, you agree to provide accurate and complete information (real name, a clear profile photo, age, etc.). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.2. Review and Moderation

We manually review each registration to help ensure the safety of our community. This may take some time. After the review, you will receive a notification. We may also request additional information. You cannot fully use the Service until your registration is approved.

2.3. Account Requirements

You may have only one account.
You may not transfer your account to anyone else.
You agree to use your real name and a profile photo that clearly shows your face.
You are responsible for everything that happens through your account until you prove it was compromised through no fault of your own.

3. Paid services and subscriptions

3.1. General Provisions

Some features of the Service may require payment. Information about subscriptions (prices, duration) is available in the app and on our website. By purchasing a subscription, you enter into a binding contract with us under these Terms.

3.2. Order Process

You select a plan, review your choices, and confirm the order. Clicking the payment button constitutes your offer. The contract is concluded when we send you a confirmation email.

3.3. Payment and Refunds

Payments are processed through Iyzico, a Turkish payment gateway. By making a payment through Iyzico, you agree to their terms of service. Refunds are handled in accordance with Turkish consumer protection law and Iyzico's policies. We do not store your bank card details.

3.4. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless you cancel them before the renewal date. You can cancel renewal in your account settings or through Iyzico. Deleting your Duolink account or the app itself does not cancel the subscription.

3.5. Free Trial Period

We may offer free trial periods. The terms of the trial period (duration, conversion to paid subscription) will be clearly stated at the time of sign- up. If you do not cancel the subscription before the trial period ends, you will be charged for the subscription.

4. Rights to content you post

4.1. Your Rights

You retain all rights to the content (messages, photos, videos, etc.) you post on the Service. You may delete it at any time, but please note that deleted content may remain with other users if they have copied or saved it.

4.2. License to Duolink

By posting content, you grant us a non- exclusive, irrevocable (for the duration of your copyright), worldwide, transferable, sub- licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and otherwise utilize your content solely for the purpose of providing, promoting, and improving the Service (e.g., displaying your profile, analyzing data, creating anonymous statistics). This license ends when you delete your content, but technical copies may remain in backups for a reasonable period.

4.3. Warranties

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content you post and that it does not violate any third- party rights or applicable laws.

5. User obligations and acceptable use

By using the Service, you agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
Impersonate any person or entity.
Post content that is offensive, discriminatory, pornographic, or incites violence.
Engage in spamming, phishing, or any form of harassment.
Advertise or solicit services without our prior consent.
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
Collect or store personal data of other users without their explicit permission.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or block accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error- free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

We are not responsible for the actions, content, or behavior of other users. You interact with them at your own risk.

7. Governing law and dispute resolution

7.1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

7.2. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing any claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@duolink.pro. We will attempt to resolve the issue within 30 days.

7.3. Jurisdiction

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Istanbul, Turkey.

7.4. Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer residing in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer protection rights (e.g., the EU or Russia), nothing in this section deprives you of those rights. You may also file a claim in your local courts if required by applicable law.

8. Age restriction

The Service is intended for individuals aged 16 years and older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we will immediately delete their account and all associated data.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason or no reason, particularly if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
